Stopped motion rather than abstract motion.

Definition of Abstract is: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness.

It's an awesome picture, but it's so realistic. other than the shadow in the shot, there really is nothing abstract.

Not as abstract as many other shots on this challenge, but I like the shot very much. The Pelican's wings are an amazing shape and well framed

While this obviously captures objects IN motion, it's only because we know that birds' wings and waves move that we know there is motion going on. I'm not sure that's a criticism, but I long to see in this what I would have seen if I had been there ---
