I don't get a strong sense of 1 second, here. I do like the statue.

That's interesting. I am back cruising around, and this image *forced* me to blow it up, look at the details, and, ultimately, google the inscription from the pedestal, leading me to the story of the statue's creation, the scandal it caused, and the reaction of citizens to it.

So, my point is: it's really not that good of an image, but it sure as heck motivated me to more effort on its behalf than any other image in this challenge, so you get a mighty bump from me :-) Enjoy!
