 Currently doing a Hollywood Lighting course at the ACP (Australian Centre for Photography) during which we try to recreate the styles of the masters of this genre, such as Hurrell & Bull.

This image was taken while we were setting up to recreate this iconic image by Horst.

The class is using a medium format digital camera which theoretically I suppose I could submit here but I chose this one instead taken with my D300 just using the tungsten lights that were on at the time and not the flashes attached to the MF.

A little gaussian blur, Levels, Curves, a little Topaz3, crop, resize, save for web

Very evocative. Love the side lighting, the dangling straps which balance the shot. Nice work. No vote.

I'm not sure about the title - Main Rousseau Bocher is a he.

However the image is nicely composed. The soft texture of the conversion, the subtle shape of the subject and ribbons are nicely caught. Very effective.
