 Some of the fish in my pond... ready to be fed again after shutting down their systems for Winter.

It's odd, but I love them. I sit out on the stepping stones that cross the pond, my white arms and legs shining, and feel the sun that encourages them to eat the Rice Crispies (no protein) that gets their systems ready for protein again as soon as the water warms up a bit more.

Life is good.

For me it's still too much fish and too little abstract, though there are some very nice abstract parts in it.

Nice job on the motion. I wish the bottom two fish were cropped out, then it would seem a little more abstract to me.

The perfect abstract - purposeful, clever conversion and the post-modernist feel of this is wonderful. It deserves to win.

Interesting idea, but it looks like there's a lot of reflection off the glass. (I could be wrong...) But the colors in the lower right are so much more interesting than all the white/filmy stuff on the left from the reflections. I washes things out and isn't as pleasing as it could have been.

This is such an odd challenge to vote on - I don't know why I do or don't like certain images, but I seem to have definite opinions. (I had the same trouble shooting for it, as I couldn't define what made on pic better than the other, so I had no idea how to shoot for it). Enough rambling on! This is all to say that I really like this image, but I have no idea why.
