 Things didn't go as planned. I got only two frames and this was one of them :)
After setting up my first lightbulb smokey shot, took about an hour to tweak things. The dimmer failed and this was my last clear bulb. It was fun to try and I learnt some tricks. Better luck next time. Really wanted to keep the detail of the filament with some smoke inside. So at least that worked out but the experiment ended too quickly.

Check out the shot that finished a couple ahead of you... "Turned On" by soup. I commented during voting that I thought it was yours and I didn't even know what you were shooting. LOL

the filament is interesting with the smoke but top seems a little muddled

Maybe THIS is the photog with the amp regulating machine... Glorious. Love the outline of the bulb, and the perfectly preserved filament smile. Even the vapor inside is lit.
