 The Image: I just thought I would enter this as it is powerful and I didn't want to waste it. It is perhaps a showhorn entry, and I know the spirit of the challenge is for some old gadget or memory of days gone by, but to me, these kids are much more worthy of our rememberance. They dwell in appalling conditions day, by day, by day. Many look though the refuse for food. This little girl has her head shaved as lice are really common. She has no clothes as her family probably can't afford to clothe all the children.

Liked the space for the child to look into. Would have like a bit more of the environment; trash heap? river bank? both?
