Liked the old tube covered in dust instead of being gussied up. Also the light to show off the tube and additional light to show up the label.

barely can make out what this is...if it hadn't been for the almost unreadable PHILIPS....I wouldn't have gotten it at all

I have an earlier one of those made by Philips, before the 'miniature' tubes were made, mine is dated 1942 and is a great old radio!
