Photographed both subjects simultaneously through beamspliting cube (prism). Image cropped, Hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, levels adjusted, NeatImage noise filter applied.

I'm sorry! Rereading my comment seems a little harsh. I really enjoyed this shot, BECAUSE it was disturbing. It doesn't immediately read "habit", but that doesn't mean it's not sucessful as a photograph outside the dictates of the challenge. 'Tis good stuff!

It looks like you casted the image with some proyector right from the same position that you placed the camera to avoid distortion... good idea, and nice result. I would have used a image of smoke or similar to make it looks like the pot was semi transparent so you can see the coffe and smoke in the interior... just another idea.
