 This little girl is one of the Chortí who after 600+ years have finally been given their tribal land back. I was graced by having the opportunity to meet these kind, gentle people on a church mission to their village, Nuevo San Isidro, in NW Honduras.

She is standing at the fence behind a wonderful school that was built for their village, and we were there to provide help and materials for housing. It was a very rewarding, and moving experience, and yes, on many levels has it evoked hope for the wonderful Chortí people in this photog.
