Yes he is, yes you did, and I knew you'd like him being into horses and all but he's hitched already. Sorry Susan :)

This is "talking to the camera". He's right there - almost feels like he's about to speak. Great lighting. Great expression. |

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. Wonderful photo portrait of this cowboy. Lighting is excellent as that there are no shadows that fall on his face from the brim of his hat. We get to see his rugged good looks and those startling blue eyes that level a stare at us. I cannot tell for sure but the backdrop looks like it might have a cow or horse in the distance...the bokeh obscures it too much to identify. If it is a cow or horse then the lessening the bokeh and showing off the backdrop would help further strengthen the visual impact of the photo by showing this cowboy's environment. Nonetheless wonderful portrait work! |

I liked the processing on your last entry better...what I liked better were the "rich tones"...I will be curious as to what the differences are in the PP notes...his eyes are so compelling they draw you in...excellent shot, it holds your attention |

Leo (or Max?), you have a few things going for you here: 1) You have a good looking model 2) The lighting is very good 3) You have good separation between the subject and the background.
I'd be interested in seeing if bringing out the details in his eyes using the shadow/highlight too would add to this photo, or just be distracting. - 7 |

A bit of dodging on the highlights in this handsome man's eyes (and sharpening on them) would really make this image a winner. The background is so wonderfully OOF and the composition is perfect.

When I grow up, I wanna have a cowboy. :) I do wish the focus on the eyes was as sharp as the focus on the hat brim, but the gaze, the gaze is telling me to forget about all that and hit the top row of the number pad.
I succumb. |

Many people have probably already recognized him, but this is his same constant facial expression with lighting and focus that aren't as good, so it is hard to appreciate this as much when it has already been done very recently. |

Hi LVicari. You didn't think your sequence with Dave would go unrecognized this soon after your ribbon did you? I don't like the lighting as much as the other, but still an intense expression and nice bokeh make it really nice. |
