 Shot at a Sam's Club from the hip. Was such a beautiful shot I was amazed. The title is a pun...if you look it up it actually is a HIDDEN GEM...lol I hope some people don't down the pic cause of the boring title.

Beautiful orchid. I like the diagonal arrangement. Very nice job on the colors - from the subtle shades on the petals to the dark spots near the center. Very nice.

Nice composition, focus, and lighting. The couple of dark area's [right top and right bottom] are a bit distracting but still a good photograph.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. I like how you composed the shot so that the orchid is at a diagonal for it adds visual interest. Lovely details seen in the texture on the petals and the colorful spotted pattern in the inner core of the flower. The square crop was a good choice for it keeps the attention focused squarely (pardon the pun) on the details and beauty of the flower.

this is macro and macro taken should be at least of good quality, in this challenge I'd rather choose something that is maybe less interesting but of better quality or even abstract could have done it..
