| I was impressed by this during voting, and remain so now. It is a really strong study of a mundane, every day object. You have shown the texture of the metal very well, the composition is strong, and the mono-conversion stronger still. |

| While this is really a cool image, I am wondering what your thought process was when you read that, for this 1000th challenge, you could select the best image you've taken in the past 4, 5, 6 years or whatever. Did you immediately think of this image and say "OH YEAH, BABY!!!"? ;-) |
