 my friend juliana on a beach in san diego. Entered a similar photo for a free study named "The Last Dance." This is pretty cliche, but also DPC-friendly...I hope it does well :)


:::After Challenge:::

Happy with how this did, but for people who didn't like the colors so much: You either like 'em or you hate 'em...I love them. I also can't see my friend Juliana without associating her with bright, vibrant, and oversaturated colors...you should see how she edits her photos (good grief, lol). This scored (before voting ended) almost exactly how my previous similar entry scored. Fun Stuff :)

I'm not really big on the saturated purple/pink, yet this really works for me. Your subject does indeed seem to be expressing herself and having a grand time. Subtle vignette works great.

What a fun silhouette! If she were barefooted it would feel more 'free' as the pose is showing.. but gee... that's such a small nitpick on such a wonderful image.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. Great expressive shot with wonderful colors! Love the silhouette of the woman as she frolics joyfully with arms outstretched and leap caught in midstride. The pose communicates happiness and joy. There are also some very lovely hues of purples and pinks in this beautiful beachscape scene complete with a sunset.

After a second look bumped you up one point. I don't particularly care for most sunrise/sunset photos unless they are really crisp. I like this because of the models and her/his hair

Nice color adjustment. The pinks and lavenders make a lovely backdrop to a very happy person. I like that she is just off the ground, and very sharp, under low light conditions.
