thank you for everyone who liked it or gave helpful feedback, but i admittingly am starting to become disillusioned with sp challenge because my favorites did not do well and almost getting last place is a bit of an insult...for those of you who did well congrats |

This is very well done... almost abstract... very artsy.

Decent shot of what I am assuming is an old tractor. The background is busy though, and competes for attention. |

Nice DOF, I like the colors, but the subject doesn't seem real sharp to me. |

The background here is a bit distracting, bit I do like the shapes in the delapidated equipment. |

Good simple shot. Better lighting would elp increase the score. |

too haphazard. i'm sure there's something here that makes this image speak to you, but i'm not hearing it or seeing it. |

Old and abandoned, just the thing photographers like to find. |

Interesting looking image. Would have liked to see it from a bit further back showing more of what remains of the old car. |

A real sense of abandonment here. Love the geometry of the stick and the wheel. |

winter light is so hard to work with, I think a little fill flash would have really made this subject pop |

Great find, but I feel like the camera's focus is off and the fascinating broken machinery is too hard to distinguish due to its darkness and the many cluttering elements. |

the picture seems a little jumbled. and the matter in the foreground is a little dark- it'd be nice to see some detail in the rust |

There is some rather bad pixellation going on here which detracts from this image in my opinion. |

The lighting is so flat, I almost didn't notice the road in the background through the bales of hay. This is a good subject and it might be fun for you to visit it again in the late afternoon on a sunny day. |

You really have captured the "broken down" feeling. Weeds in the foreground and shallow depth of field are effective at creating the sense of old. |
