| Cute little things - great to photograph. Wish the photo was a bit sharper. The bottom left blurry corner is distracting - Some advanced editing might have helped that. |

Simply gorgeous! I love puffins (they are Newfoundland's provincial bird) but I've never gotten this close to one. I love the pose you captured.

| I am thrilled and yet a tad disappointed with this image. I love the birds, they are incredibly detailed, they have interesting interaction, and the dof is good.. however, the foreground dof is distracting and looks unnatural, like that section was processed that way. Clone that section out and you have a 10.. as it is, 9.. i LOVE those birds! |

| the birds are beautifully rendered and well in focus. There seems to be editing issues with the blur around them - it may have been fine to not use it at all, or use it a little more gently. colors and composition good. 7 |

| Puffins always look fake to me, but of course these are real. Good bokeh makes the birds really stand out. Is this an outdoor setting or stuffed birds indoors? |

Ohh... adorable. The OOF stuff in front is distracting and seems 'wrong', but I really like the background being totally OOF.

| I noted this as a thumbnail in my initial run through, and am disappointed that at this size it doesn't live up to my expectations. I love the interaction between the two puffins, but think this could be sharper and find the blurring in the fg and bg distracting. That said I bet they're not easy to capture, so well done. |

| I like puffins. They look so humourous and serious at the same time. Generally, I like the composition in this, but the lower left has me puzzled. The blur ends rather abruptly -- post processing error, maybe???? |
