I don't think this is bad but I do think it's lacking "wow" factor. Lovely weather.

Lovely tranquil scene.

The composition here is good, but there are a few small things that could improve this photo. The horizon is a little tilted, and the colours could use a little more pop.

Nice use of parallelism between side of boat and jetty. Nice colors (boat, sea, sky).

Good shot. A little more vibrance would help the score.

Nice composition. Horizon looks a little skewed.

I feel like a little editing would bring out the color here more. A nice shot though.

a little tighter crop might have been good here

A pretty scene but it looks a bit washed out. Your horizon is also tilted, that's an easy fix.

I dont know about this , maybe if the boat was alone on the pic...

;D brano

I see what you were trying to attempt here, but the picture just comes across as very bland.

the lighting is not too flaterring and your horizon is definitely tilted.

i like how both the wall and boat point out and lead the eye that way

Very peaceful looking. Feels tilted to the right, though.

a bit too soft and bright, would look better in the morning probably. i find the rope at the bottom and tilted horizon distracting

I like the way the rocks serve as leading lines to your boat ... It may benefit from a slight boost in contrast and saturation

Looks like my boat is ready for me. Nice photo, good placement of the boat.

Gary bobbed on the water, tied to this spot near the breakwater, itching to go. It wasn't very long ago that he would be out on a day like this, floating in the great blue sea, enjoying the sun and the waves and the dolphins lazily bumping him now and then playfully.

It wasn't very long ago that the old man would take him out and fill his holding tank full of fish or lay back and snooze in the lazy afternoon sun. It wasn't very long ago.

But now, he sat here. He sat here and wondered why the old man didn't come. He sat here and thought about his empty holding tank and felt the scratch of the sand on his hull and a sad thought began to creep up on him.

What if the old man never returned? What if he was doomed to remain here, rotting in this shallow spot, never feeling the waves and the rush of wind and seeing the playful dolphins, or hearing the snores as the old man slept?

He bobbed in the water, and the day passed, and still the old man didn't come.

What if?

This is OK.. nothing spectacular

I like the multiple lines that lead your eye around the shot. I would have tweaked the horizon though on this one.

Love the parallel between the boat and the rocks; colors are lovely.

the light makes the shot a little flat, also i would crop the bottom of the picture more. a little above the water line.

The horizon is tilted and needs more punch in editing but a very pretty scene.

Nice composition and natural colours. Strong rule of thirds with the horizon and I like the rock wall leading line to that horizon. Light is a bit ordinary, you would have a superior sky if the photo could have been taken later in the day, (this looks around 10AM or 2PM?) Best of luck. 8

lacks of impact, horizon is tilted - sorry, not more than a touristic snapshot.

this would be just a great shot if you had "bumped" your curves/levels just a touch more...personally I like photos that have more "ton/contrast" in them

Lovely photo. Seems like this was taken mid day. What I like is the light is killing anything. Seems as though you had good control over it. Like how the water changes color, the boat is a nice subject, placed well and like how the rocks seperate the boat from the rest of the view. Also, the clouds look great. Nicely captured. 7
