What a wonderful place to see!
Technically, there's very little to say, maybe the some small noisy spots in the sky, but it's not important because I think that you have edited this wonderful photo creating a special atmosphere, it's quite magic ! |

nice HDR or equivalent image. I find that the yellow in the clouds let this image down badly. Try to post process selectively on just the clouds. Maybe reduce more yellow, add a little more red , magenta. You get my drift..

| I like the warmth to the greenery but perhaps it needed a touch less of that in the mountains. The details are excellent and the composition really good. The bright yellow parts in the sky doesn't seem to work well though. Perhaps a try at masking the blown out sky some other way? maybe cloning out the little bits and just darkening the rest. Not sure if cloning out the big ones would be legal in advanced editing, could be though.(no vote) |

When it began, nobody took notice, for it began far from prying eyes. It began above the peaks and forests in a wilderness that few traversed, and none had settled.
On the day of our doom, the clouds above these peaks grew thick, and dark, and fire flashed within, and the heat seared the air and ground and set all it touched aflame.
By the time it reached more settled ground, where we as humanity gathered and lived, it had grown to such chaos and violence that we never stood a chance, and the fire and death rained from the sky and the very earth was turned to glass.
The instrument of our doom had started above the instrument of our life, and it seemed a fitting end.

| wish there was more sky and mountains and less forest - the pond is barely visible in between all the greens. a tad overprocessed, especially in the clouds, but still leaves a majestic but calm impression. very good sharpness. |
