I like the use of desat and went with a similar approach which did not resonate with many voters. |

I'm guessing you're headed for a 4.x so I have to leave a comment - I think this is a great shot. I like the juxtaposition of old and new, the muted (but not completely desaturated!) colors in the back and the bright reds on the jeans. Your image is definitely about old and new at the same time, congrats on having the courage to draw attention to the new by both color and title even though the challenge is about the old! |

It might have been better without a person there although it does show scale, so maybe I'm wrong. Very good detail in the stones. |
