It does seem lonely. I like the slight overexposure here. |

ok so there is the bench and also the road, you can see the bench from behind and its 'looking' (or pointing if you will)outside the pic as well and it looks to me as if the main subject was the road now..
the bw realization is considerably good so I give five but I think this could be better ;D
take care,

This makes me home sick. It reminds me of scenic German bench. |

Find it hard to say something about this one - wish the bench were inverted |

I like the leading lines of the path and those trees. It's a bit too contrasty for my tastes, but it's a nice scene. |

I like the high key feeling of this. Also, having the benches facing out of the frame like that adds to the "disconnected" feeling that I usually associate with empty benches. Nice work. |

the position of the bench and the composition applied doe not work here. The high key treatment is OK |

Haunting and soul stirring. I love the post on this. Desat and b/w conversion are stellar. I really like how the darker bench draws the eye from the lane that disappears and fades into around the bend. A fave. |

I really like the composition of this, with the bench off-center and the winding path on the left. I like the black and white, but I think maybe upping the contrast would help bring out / define the details of the scene more. |

The high key scene works for this. Combined with the light sepia tone, it has the feel of a vague dream or memory. |

Compositionally straining to me. The monochrome treatment is almost there... but not quite... |

Oh my - a nice and lonely bench, a subject that sings to the soul.
Interesting composition with the walkway leading to the bench and not the view from the bench, nor the bench itself, as the main frame filler.
Walk up and sit a spell. Sit a spell then walk down the trail.
Let me rest, let me sit, let me talk with loved ones current, past, and passed -- yes benches can sing to the soul.
Your processing adds quite nicely to the scene. Tied (so far) for my highest mark in scoring this challenge. |

I'll be honest. I don't like this because I don't think the IR effect has been used to a positive effect in this pic. It's there, but it's not doing anything. |

A very lovely spot, I like the path that leads through the photo, but it seems to be overexposed to much... personally I like a really deep tone...this doesn't mean it isn't a great capture, it almost has a "negative" feel |
