Way underrated (IMHO). I came back this morning just to see where this shot landed ... couldn't believe it was this far down.

| Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo. That being said, this among the best of this genre. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1120 images, I gave 98 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 98, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.
I generally get fed up of baby shots, and everybody saying to me "aren't babies gorgeous?". I tend to find babies are horrible squashed face little things, and have no interest in them. Having said all that, this baby is absolutely gorgeous, and it's without a doubt the best baby picture I have ever seen. I love the high key and monocrome approach, which really allows you to focus on those lovely sparkling eyes, and the cheeky half grin. Superb work!
Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge. |

| Oh, what a lovely joy to behold in the eye's and the expression on this beautiful child!!!!This is a great high key image! Wonderfully done and an excellent light on white portrait! You captured such pure joy that alights in this child's eyes! We see it in the expression of the open mouth too but it is they eyes that draws me in and hold my attention. |
