| I got little bit sick of all those sunset photos where just the sunset is the main subject but this one is diffrent! You captured a beautyfull scene with the sunset as a bonus.. The light reflection and the color of the ocean is also great... good luck. 8 |

| always wonder if this is St. Joseph or Michigan City...very pleasing colors and tones...I say it is Michigan City as St. Joseph does not have rocks on the right side of it (harbor opening)...St. Joseph's just opens into Lake Michigan...(I grew up in St. Joseph, MI) |

I don't think I ever tire of good lighthouse photographs. And, this is a good lighthouse photograph. Throw in the sunset and the reflection... Perfect.

| Pretty colors. Great clarity. Little too much dead space over the light house for my taste. I think it would have been perfect if you were in tighter on the lighthouse... cut out the deadspace to the right and above it. still a 7 though. |

| Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. What is so stand-out beautiful about this photo is the lovely sunset colors. There is the softswept violet blues of the reflecting ocean water. There is the gold, orange and lighter violet hues of the sky. The lighthouse with the sunstar light shining as a beacon in this scene draws the eye in and further holds our attention as we watch the beacon and hear the sound of the surf. |

This is strange... Image and processing are in general first-rate, but there's a distinct sense of "lean" to it. I'm aware the light itself is essentially squared up, but the walkway pylons seem skewed. Not only that, the jetty seems artificially horizontal, if you catch my drift?
I'd be tempted to try skewing left to square the pylons then skewing down to make the jetty just a bit of a diagonal; I think that would feel more natural to me...
Something like this, maybe, though the actual horizon seems a tad off now, but that's fixable..
