I really like this image. The color makes it very dramatic, and it reminds me of sunsets back home. Great centering. The only nit is the ground isn't totally level. But the power of the image moves it to a 9. Great job. |

very nice. this is one of those pics that I'd like better off-centre (I'm sure you took those too), but given the challenge is perfectly suitable. the glow through the clouds is phenomenal. I might have opted for a little more sky and a little less earth, but that one of those things that we leave to the anal voters and their need to analyze the 'dead centre' semantic to death :). great job in either case (looking forward to outtakes).

This would be a nice shot on its own, but by contrasting the machinery against the sunset it's very dramatic. Great saturation in the shy, and excellent composition. |

A little cliché, but beautiful. The clouds are just right in this! Also would've been a great silhouette entry. |

This is most excellent. Color, lighting and composition give this a nice moody effect. Wouldn't change a thing. Great job. |

Lovely image. Great sulhouette. Peaceful. Almost make the tornados liveable with sunsets like that! Sky and clouds a great accent. Too bad you had to sacrifice so much of the bottom with blackness just to stay "centered." |

it seems like you couldn't chose between the sun and the ..eh..thingy (and your horizon is not straight..) so I would have liked it more when you would have chosen only 1 subject..now it is a bit of a chaos there in the middle in an otherwise serene shot..Apart from that I think you have caught a great light, great colour and that must be rewarded! |

Very impressive with the volumetric lighting. Excellent details even in the clouds. I think it would look better if the ground was cropped a bit more to allow more emphasis on the sun and sky. I also seems the horizon line is not 100% straight but if the ground really is that way, it can't be helped so I won't deduct for that. 7 |
