Good detail on the fly, although the light is perhaps a little on the harsh side. Pleasingly composed, but what I like best is the softness and colour of the petals! Bemused my the votes of 1, 2 and 3...

Voted earlier leaving comments now. Great macro that captures some wonderful details on the fly and the floral 'resting' post it has landed on. I like how you composed the shot with the core of the flower close to the top left corner - the flower center seems to mimic the sun with the petals being rays that radiate out to all points of the composition. Within is a sharply focused fly that has great details seen in the wings and body.

I don't normally find flies beautiful but placed in the context of this beautifully executed image that fly is almost beautiful. It would have been nicer though if instead of a fly it was perhaps a bee or a hornet or such.
Anyway the fly will have to suffice I guess. I like the soft, pastel colors of the flower petals very much and the luminous glow they have.. Nice detail also. 7
