| This really looks cold and desolate. It makes me glad to be in Southern California instead of Northern Minnesota where I was raised. The mid-picture horizon is risky. Maybe cropping closer to their feed and losing much of the left side would make the people more prominent and make the horizon more fit the "rules". |

| Excellent. This small cluster of people, supporting each other against the disorientation of this immensity. I also enjoy centered horizons, especially when they are unrelieved ... makes the image a kind of secret abstract. 8. |

| Wonderful sense of vastness and cold. Beautiful blues and the little bit of yellow sunlight adds visual interest. Though a candid shot, this could have been even better if the group's body posture was more dynamic, especially the guy on the left. |
