I am always in awe of these type of images as I cannot imagine ever having the skill or patience to be able to pull it off. A great shot and a true gem of whihc you can be proud. Well done and good luck for the rest of the challenge.

I've never seen a hummingbird drink from a daylily before. I'm going to have too keep a closer eye on the daylilies this year ;-)

It's amazing to me to think about how fast the shutter speed must be to get a decently clear shot of the flapping wings. Nice capture.

The colors here are so subtle, the subject so arresting ... it makes me want to linger. It belies the dramatic battle between lift and gravity.
