The bottom crop is a bit tight.

A more interesting sky would have brought better contrasts.

Nice place, im not sure your sky helps though, its too bland and just...bland... overexposed perhaps? Nice subject otherwise.

This is a pretty nice shot, but there are a few things about it which are bothering me.

First is the angle you have taken it from, though I realise that it's probably built on a hill so I don't know how much you could have done about that.

Second is the sky, it's pure white, a dramatic cloud cover would have worked better, though again, that's probably not completely your fault, but most likely the wonderful depressing British weather.

Lastly, and this is the only one that is strictly your fault, is the top of the lamp post sticking into the shot at the lower right is annoying, you could probably have got away with cloning that out under the advanced editing rules.

I think a wider angle and more detail in the sky would have done this shot good, within advanced editing you could have done 3 bracketed exposures and gone for an HDR, or a graduated neutral density filter would have helped to bring the exposure of the sky down a notch.

Great angle you took this shot from emphasizing the dramatic architecture of this castle. Pity about the bland sky but I know from experience that those skies are typical in the UK at this time of year and one can't do much about it.
