 Taken back in November of 2005. Still learning all I could with my Olympus back then. The girls and I visited the St. Bernard de Clairvaux Spanish Monestary in North Miami Beach....yup you heard right an ancient Spanish Monestary in Florida?!?!?! Built in the 1100's is was bought and brought over to the states by William Randolph Hearst in 1925.

I had my daughter pose such that she was peeking to see what lies inside. I did two shots before a wedding party moved into the shot. At first I was annoyed but then I quickly realized that this moment tells a story so I told her to pose again. This is the beautiful result.

One of the four shots I was able to fire off - this one I left in color

There is something so fun and youthful but still romantic about this, reminds me of the Secret Garden but I don't really know why, haha. Great in b&w.

Cute photo of a candid moment. B&W is well done and I like the shadow detail. It appears to be tilted a bit to the left, but maybe it's just an illusion.

This is a great shot. That archway almost makes you dizzy, and the girl sneaking a peak around the pillar is priceless.

Ohhh. . .I remember a photo like this, but I can't remember whose it is. But I loved it then, and I love it now! I would certainly consider it my best photo if I took it! It seems I remember it being a real life candid, which makes it even better. Fabulous! 10

This is a candid shot in books and they are the best! I love how the pro photographers are talking about the next picture as the girl is looking in. Sometimes B&W pictures are hard to pull off but this one is turn out really good

The girl peeking gives this a whole other story aside from the wedding. It really makes the picture work along with the editing. Not your typical wedding picture but much more and I am loving it.
