Nice placement of the bird.
03/17/2009 02:18:45 PM
Good capture!

The subtleness of the cage makes this picture a lot more powerful. Great title.

The background looks so cool, I'm curious how you did that. The colors all work really well together.
03/17/2009 07:33:29 AM
Good shot. A bit tighter of a shot would score even higher.
03/17/2009 02:50:34 AM
Lovely falcon image.

I'd have cropped a bit more to get more focus on the bird. Also, a bit of PP on the eye would make it more of the subject.

he does have the noble look, wish it was a touch more saturated..
03/15/2009 11:52:56 PM
cool bird
03/15/2009 11:22:36 PM
Well captured and presented.
03/15/2009 10:12:02 PM
a little OOF
03/15/2009 09:02:17 PM
Nice shot of this hawk. Your title gives away that it is captive though, you should have tried to fake it that you got this in the wild. ;)
03/15/2009 05:59:06 PM
Nice capture and detail. Perhaps a bit closer would be better, since there isn't anything obvious in the shot that says it is in captivity.
03/15/2009 05:27:46 PM
Effective background. Bird looks like it could be a little sharper.
03/15/2009 03:07:13 PM
Beautiful bird and a good title. I would like sharper focus, but perhaps that was your intent? Nice image in any case.
03/15/2009 01:36:39 PM
nice 'catch'...
6 from me

;D brano

A nice looking bird, good composition. Would like to see it a bit brighter.
03/15/2009 03:32:34 AM
nice effort , but focus needs to be crisper
03/14/2009 02:35:40 PM
Zoom in more since the background is not used.
03/14/2009 01:24:56 PM
The hexagon shapes of the fence keep drawing my eyes away from the subject.
03/14/2009 12:03:36 PM
The bolt upright pose does give the bird a proud look. I would have liked to see a slightly tighter crop if possible so that I can see more detail of the bird and the beautiful patterns on those feathers.
03/14/2009 11:49:15 AM
Beautiful bird. Lighting a bit flat.
03/14/2009 06:26:56 AM
Beautiful.
03/14/2009 01:05:52 AM
Great patterns on the birds front
03/13/2009 08:44:59 PM
The background is a bit distracting. Is it a fence in the background? My eye is drawn away from the bird and to the background trying to make out what it is.
03/13/2009 03:28:46 PM
what a beautiful bird...really like your colors
03/13/2009 12:09:17 PM
Lovely Coopers hawk, she looks very intent
interesting abstract background, i would like to see the hawk fill more of the picture though
03/13/2009 10:55:45 AM
Beautiful bird. Has a kind of sad look, but his attitude is wonderful.
03/13/2009 09:38:58 AM
The background is rather distracting (possibly the cage?)
03/13/2009 06:45:34 AM
a little tighter crop?
03/12/2009 02:49:52 PM
nice raptor ;) a little shallower DOF might have helped get rid of the fence in the BG.
03/12/2009 11:42:38 AM
the background is confusing
03/12/2009 07:15:52 AM
The fence pattern is a little distracting.
03/11/2009 01:34:49 PM
He does look quite confident. By the way, does he only have one foot?
03/11/2009 12:32:04 PM
The background is to cluttered but the bird is nice!
03/11/2009 11:39:04 AM
The bokeh is like nature's plaid. I like the rich emerald greens.
03/11/2009 11:15:05 AM
The background is very distracting. Nice profile on the bird though.
03/11/2009 07:35:49 AM
nice shot, but a little soft in my opinion
03/11/2009 05:12:26 AM
The fence makes for some interesting patterns in the background, but I think I'd crop closer to better show the raptor. They have such interestingly fierce expressions.
03/11/2009 04:19:01 AM
That's a great shot. Where's its other foot though?

I'd suggest cropping a bit of space off the top though.
03/11/2009 01:51:31 AM
good depth of field here
03/10/2009 10:45:11 PM
Great capture.
03/10/2009 09:12:07 PM
Excellent DOF
