Looks stormy! I don't think the tilt works here, perhaps if it were more extreme so that it looked a little more purposeful? |

They are sailing downriver. Was this during a flood? |

tilt doesnt quite seem right for this |

In the rain! And down hill! |

The rain splashing in the water makes it so textured it almost looks like grass rather than water. I like that it is not straight. This makes it look like the boats are about to flow out of the frame. |

Feels nostalgic ... like it was taken 100 years ago. |

sorry I have no word for this - the image quality is so poor |
|

the toning was a good idea, it helps soften the bright sky |

Looks like they are sailing crooked. I do wish the horizon was straight. Maybe you meant to do this though. Looks like you got soaked too! |
|
|

and sailing in the rain and yet the sun seems to be shining, one suggestion would be to straighten the horizon as they seem to be sailing downhill |
|

Sorry. This looked like a field. On closer look, it is raining (hard). |

Sailing in the rain! You might want to straighten the horizon, they look like they are about to sail off the edge of the world. |

Could've titled this Dedication perhaps. Nice shot. |

needs to be straightened...to flat in tone |

I like the tilt here and that the masts are perfectly vertical. Give it a different dynamic. |

Looks like interesting weather for sailing! |

The water almost looks like grass. |

tilted horizon doesn't work for me, but definitely i can sense the harsh conditions for sailing in this weather! |

Good capture of the rain, composition is a little cramped, but not in a bad way. |

Wow.. looks like they get rain there.
Not sure on the crooked horizon, the water will run out. |

Seems very wet here. Nice catch of the rain. |

Not sure whether this "washed out" look & feel to the image was intentional. Not my preference, |

This is a great shot! Very moody... I like it! |

Not such a good day to go sailing, but nice photo. |
|
|
03/11/2009 02:54:12 PM |
The tilted horizon gives the feel that it was taken on a boat. Not sure if that was intentional, but I like it. |
|
|

The rain makes the water look like asphalt!!! |
|
|
03/11/2009 02:40:51 PM |
Doesn't look to be a good day for sailing |
|

Not to usual to see this kind of picture in the rain. I like that! |

Beach bound for shelter? good capture. |

too bad the horizon isn't straight, but i like the composition |
|
|
03/11/2009 09:56:44 AM |
This could have been a good shot but I feel it focuses on the water not the boats/rain |

Sao Paulo! I have been there! The rain is a VERY cool touch. It takes a cliche photo opportunity and makes it so much more interesting. |

This is a funky image - I like it. I like that it's raining, that the horizon is tilted, that nothing is tack sharp. All the little things that comprise this image make it more interesting, somehow. Good luck! |
