 March was a bit of alright last year.

Phew, glad I went with the more natural palette then!

Shout out to LVicari and Nuzzer, couldn't agree more with your assessment, thank you for being honest. Detail in the rocks isn't much better at full res either, and I suspect the cause may have been movement of water around the tripod :(

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1115 images, I gave 94 of them an 8. Your image was one of those 94, placing you well within the top 10% for this challenge.

The thing I love about this shot in comparison to all the other sunset/sunrise pictures in this challenge is the understated hues. The pinks and blues are so subtle and light as to almost not be there. Pretty much every other shot in this vein has the colours so saturated that they overpower the image. Nice work!

Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge.

Piha ... Rina? I know you like beaches but there are nice in focus elements in this shot - it can't be yours! Nice effect in the water with the long exposure, maybe needs a bit more "interest" other than that for me

The pastels are nice and smooth. The only thing that sort of bothers me is the lack of detail in the rocks in front of you. Very hard to get that detail.

I like the swirling movement of the tide around the rocks. The subtle color palette is natural and not overdone. Very pretty.
