Excellent details of both the log and the frog. Overall, it feels a bit overexposed but maybe it's my eyes. The lighter colored wood is what I'm talking about as it just feels bright. I also think the top could use some trimming to just below the level of the small twig sticking out of the water. 7

Too bad he's not centered in the frame. that'd help a lot for this challenge. But great sharpness and texture on the frog.

Good shot, nice detail. For me the lighting seems to be a little harse in some of the white spots on the log, I don't think a little better detail on the log would be a distraction from your main subject (the frog). Or I may have used soft edges on this picture to give it a dreamy effect, cover for the bright areas of the log and push the viewer closer to the center. Still a very good shot.
