Anna, CONGRATULATIONS! This is brilliant. With flawless execution! The only thing that is surprising is that you are surprised it won a ribbon. To me it looks like a no-brainer for a ribbon :)

very nicely done. great composition and light. the motion blur gives this image that little something, which makes all the difference. very nice.

Ah, nice shot. I love the smoothness of all the surfaces, the fact that the books are a part of a collection (really makes the shot feel purposeful and planned) and the blur of the pages is perfect - we can still read the title of the book behind the pages but there is a sense of motion. I like this a lot.
