 Trying something new. Models are such a pain :-)

Took just 5 shots of myself for a last-minute idea. Delighted to have been in frame and in focus. Desaturated and lightened skin and wall, burned the gem a bit, added border.

Excellent! The necklace seems to float just off the body, sort of 3 dimensionally. Love the post of this!

Personally, I thought it was great! I gave it an 8. I felt that the skin was the "predominately lighter color" part of it. Very nice.

I like this but the bright white strip in the top corner takes my eye away from the subject

These colors are much too dark to meet the challenge of light on white.

The dark clothing and necklace make this dnmc to me... "Take a photo in which the background is white and the subject is predominately a lighter color." I suppose that the skin is technically a predominately lighter color, but I think the darkness of the other colors take away from the idea of the challenge.
