| To me, at least, you seem to have managed to capture just the right light to define "morning". DOF is great. My only criticism might be to have changed the title to "early morning habits", but that's getting far too picky, even for me. A 9. |

| The coffee seems to be a significant subject here, yet it is cropped off. A steaming cup on the ldge next to the sigarette would have been less distracting. |

| I recognize this fully. Some smoke from the cigarette and vapour from the coffee would have been nice. A couple of butts in the ashtray would have made it complete. Good use of black and white here. |

I really do like this photo, but the cigarette should be facing filter end toward the subject. In addition, I think something’s not right with the cup.
It may be either too large or too dark.
I love the window, the garden outside, the lace, the cigarette and the lightâ€Â¦ it has a morning feel to it.

| Lighting is pleasing. Lack of detail in hand holding cup makes it ambiguous. Cigarette would add more if positioned more casually, I think. |
