So obviously these birds are pigeons not doves, lol! But the one sitting on the cross might have been a dove, I'm pretty bad with birds. Three different images, the church cross with bird I caught the other day on my way home from the bosque, then two images of pigeons flying around my house. The 'white winged dove' descending to the cross is really one image of a bunch of pigeons starting to fly off the telephone wires in front of my house, it almost looked like the natural progession of one bird flying to me. Only two had white wings, so I had to fake it on the rest by just copying the wings and resizing/rotating them until they blended. After combining the imgages on a black canvas I converted it to sepia using Silver Efex Pro. Then I copied the bird on cross section as a new layer, set it to overlay blending mode, enlarged it and moved it until I was happy with the placement. Finally, I used my old book overlay below in a couple of different sizes and blending modes to creat the texture.

Wow. What an editing. I like the whole, looks like an old book (probably because of your book overlay). Not sure if the title fits with the image. For me it looks more about crosses. Anyway, nice work!
