| Chocolate, being both addicting and nice to photograph, was a good idea. The blown out highlights detract here though, IMHO. |

The overexposed highlights on this shot are distrstracting.
If it was 'candid' in a cafe, you can use a white napkin, or another plate to bounce some light onto the front side of the cake, to even out the exposure without attacting too much attention. |

| This isn't lit particulalry well and the details aren't crips enough. This should look lucious and delicious but it isn't tempting me. It looks rather dewey for some reason (frozen, hasn't had time to thaw?). The composition isn't bad but the cake is falling off the lower edge a bit. |

| should have used plackard or something to shade frosting so it wouldn't glare and look more chocolately. |

| ya...but from chocolate fiend to another... i'd put more chocolate EVERYWHERE! like chocolate syrup and chocolate ice cream...i mean i'd be floating in chocolate for this challange...whoa...sorry there...getting carried away :) |

| Lighting looks sa little harsh at the top of the photo, leaving the subject looking underexposed. |
