 I was working on this for my Calendar entry and FELL ASLEEP! Also, I missed the last hour of the OSCARS!

GAH!

This probably would have bombed anyway - obviously it would not have been a diptych and I wouldn't have put in the sparkles... but still.

However, I like the ethereal look, which I achieved with lensbaby and mystical light filter - fairydust setting. Just getting a feel for both of those tools.

Soft and dreamy and wonderful colors! So hmmm, is it a wedge of brie cheese? :-) This really is beautiful.

I thought it was ballet shoes... not sure what it actually is once its bigger. I'm not a fan of the stars... I get what you were going for but they just don't work for me.

Yeah, this doesn't seem very "masses friendly" -- best kept to us elite. ;-D

I'm guessing a wedge of brie with a ribbon?

Well, every cloud has a silver lining. This is so lovely with the sparkles that couldn't have been there for the calendar. It's a really lovely, soft and delicate diptych.

Oh the Academy Awards were fabulous. I thought the production was exceptional. As far as the entry for Calendar, the masses aren't ready for a blurred artful piece. I think it's lovely and the inclusion of the stars really make it divine.
