 This river is great for canoeing! The mountains in the background are the Wellsville Mountains in northern Utah (Cache Valley).

This is such an amazing photograph. The mountains in the backgrounds are ghostly and sureal and yet so solidly there! I love the contrast, the composition, and the exposure! The river is also so well captured, silky smooth. True talent!!

This is an absolutely awesome photo. Three thumbs up if I had another. I love the contrast and the haze in front of the mountains. Just made it to my favorites. Great job.

I remember this one! I always did like this one and put it on my favorites as soon as I saw it. I really like the balance between dark and light. You captured the mist/steam really well. Excellent work.

Beautiful B&W. I bet the Histogram looks like a perfect bell. :) Great job, the water is perfect going from not pure black (almost) out the light grey, just awesome. Did you use NeatImage on this? 9. :)

I love it too. It's the type of shot I alway imagine taking but can never seem to accomplish. When I see something that looks that breath taking, I'll shoot it, but when I download it, it just hasn't translated to the image sensor very well. Wish I knew your secret. :)

David,

I saw this at TrekEarth and I wished you would post it here so I could add it to my favs list :) I really admire your "Mountain" work. The curve of the land, the foggy mountain, the water and sky are perfectly composed. B&W is just beautiful with this, I don't think it would have had much power in color.

Great work, I hope to see more...
