 Its not easy capturing a hover fly on the wing. They don't so much hover as get blown about a lot in the breeze so trying to keep them in focus is a challenge. I was aided by a macro flash but I had a lot of attempts before I got this shot. Another shot taken with my old Nikon D80 and my Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro lens.
