I took this photo in a cemetery at night (about 2:30), in Lyon, France. I wanted to use the gloomy atmosphere to express a feeling of uneasiness when looking at the "ghost" on that bench.
How i made it : I used a tripod, set for 25 seconds (f/2.8, iso 100, 17mm), sat on the bench, then left after aprox 17 seconds.
Post processing made : I corrected the white balance, cropped it, enhanced lighting details on trees, bench, ghost + other subtle changes ...

I'm not a fan of how the tree is right in the middle of the pic and grabs so much attention from the subtle subject of the photo, the person/ghost. It's a cool effect, bt I think the thunder is stolen by the distracting tree.

A bit too dark, it took me a couple of seconds to see there is a person in the picture.

This is radically underexposed, I can barely make out the guy on the bench. Composition is haphazard, and the photo feels like a snapshot. Maybe getting lower to the ground and more to the left or right would have helped. Maybe.

Good Shot

The clarify (selective contrast) effect is a bit visible near the trees in the right.

Maybe a lighter hedge would have made the ghost more visible (IR ?) but the idea is cool and the picture does not include a puzzle piece in the literal sense, like most of the other pictures here.

Hope to see you in the next challenges.

is your monitor calibrated? I love the idea, but I can barely even make out that there is a person or a bench....

I love this and I believe it'll score high.

I like the whole idea, composition, colors and everything else about this shot. Except... I think it would have been a little stronger without the ghosting of the model since it would then have been more real to me. But I do understand of course that the 'ghosting' was done to make it puzzling. Great job either way! 8

good idea, but a bit too dark overall, so the effect gets lost. a closer crop might have helped, too
