I wrote a comment and it never posted - how annoying! I have to say that I did not get a sense of tilt from the book. Maybe because the area before the book is so dark? For me, there is no reference horizon that would give me a clue about the position of the book. I can see where the glasses are at a slight angle but it just makes me think of one of those books that are hard to keep closed. I like the yellowish sepia-tone color - makes me think of one who is trying to read in the dark using only candlelight. |

I don't see a horizon at all... But, anyway, I'd like to see either more or less of the glasses. Cropping them there looks like an accident to me. |
