 I was at Fort de Chartres an taking pictures of the historical site (that I did not know was closed). I climbed to the top of one of the guard towers to get a better picture of the foundations, as I liked the geometry. I tilted the camera to get the whole foundation in the screen and didn't really think about the 'tilted horizon' until after I viewed it on the computer screen. It was a dark winter day and I think the picture may have been better had their been some sun.

The crop on the left is a bit tight and the froeground wall detracts from the main subject. A slightly wider angle and a more elevated position would have made a big difference.

just a bit flat and dull in color...curves/levels? maybe even some brightness?
