 I have a bird feeder just outside my window mainly as an experiment for shooting birds in flight. Sometimes I'll just stick my bendable lizard stick out there and shoot close-ups. I had my sb600 outside as fill light because my feeder is under the eave of my house. My 50mm is sticking through a black sheet hanging in the window. The bird was less than a foot away.

I think I am completely obsessed with birds... I need help.

Nice range of tones, good bokeh. I like the B&W for what is typically a color shot.

Oh Cynthia! This is BEAUTIFUL! Where's another Bokeh challenge when you need one.

You don't need help at all. . .except to find a publisher to publish your work. It is the ones who take the extra effort to get the shots that other people don't who get the amazing photography works of art like this. Congratulations, and keep them coming!

You really think your gonna stop there? (Nice shot btw, real nice separation between foreground and back. Maybe just tone down the top of its head.)
