O.k. I have looked through all the photos and have commented on a select few... I think this shot will do... better then average... It has now WOW factor but its one of the most beautiful dogs. I think this shot will get top 15 at least. And if not you were robbed of a good photo. The dog is making the funniest faces any dog makes and the red really compliment the color of the dog. This is my personal favorite of this challenge... Well done!

Wow! Great expression. Nice soft lighting... I'm not sure I get the need for the rim/back light on the left. I think I'd like a more neutral background to complement the warm tones in the fur. (sorry for all the suggestions... still a great shot... the expression is wonderful)

"What are you doing with that black thing? Did I just see a light?"

You can almost hear him thinking. Nice lighting.

Great expression; I love it when dogs cock their head like that. Nice lighting, too. Not such a big fan of the red background as I think it's a little overwhelming with his coloring. I'd play with hue shifts and some desaturation to get the background to recede a little visually so he can have my full attention.

Effective lighting and good focus, clarity and detail from the nose to the eyes. The focus softens behind that point, but this works for me. 8
