 Printed out a New York skyline silhouette, stuck it onto a piece of A3 black card and cut it out. Put an A3 piece of white card with a slight pattern at the back of the light tent, put the skyline in front.

Clipped a red backdrop to the outside of the tent and then back lit with two lights. Home made grid converter on my 580 remotely triggered from above so the cap the apple is on isn't lit. Manual exposure so the flash can light the apple and the back light will show the red through.

Convert from raw upping exposure, blacks, vibrancy, clarity. two curves layers in CS3.

Very cute and creative. Not sure if you made the background yourself, if you did, great work. The colors you chose here are great IMO. The sky is a lucious tone that makes the city pop but doesn't take away from the main subject. The apple is well lit and exposed and lastly, the pink and blue people work really well. Well done.
