Thanks for all the comments. I knew the lighting was bad, but worked with what I had, and I was really going for the paw print thing more than lighting. The eyes I think are the most distracting part, but I couldn't spot edit the shine out and don't have an off-camera flash. Ah well, next time. |

Ha... love the bokeh.. hate the eyes.. get your flash further away from your camera.
When I only had a P&S camera, I built a periscope for my flash that reflected the light to above the camera. I also used a larger difuser to make the light softer, anyway this helped to avoid red-eye problems |

Your lighting is too harsh., It should be bounced or reflected, not shot straight on in the face. |

Was this taken with a Lensbaby with a paw print aperture? Cool idea, if it was! I might have changed the lighting a bit to prevent the "scary" reflection in his eyes. |

I have two corgis....I didn't enter a photo of either one of them---I had company and was too busy. Your corgi is beautiful!! |

Out of focus, flash in the window is distracting and so our the dog prints. What's with the eyes? |
