 Bought the apple, sprayed the apple with water, put the apple in my little white boxy thingy, took the picture, adjusted the black in RAW and here we are!

I actually really like this badboy, so it will probably get smashed. I hoping for a 6.5... a boy can dream can't he?

Damn you tiny red speck! I know I will get comments on you!

Sweet! Thanks for all the great comments. It was interesting to see how they contradicted one another about the coloring...

I have now ribboned twice with food shots... I think I may be trying to do more of those in the future...

An overall sound shot. The color, water, shadow and focus are spot on. My favorite thing here is the brown stem. Nice work with that.

i like how the water drops accent the texture of the apple. makes the apple appear rough, but you know if you wiped your finger across it it would be smooth. nice comp too

I like the colour and contrast of your photo very much. The drops of water are beautiful too. The lighting is just nice. At least you read the instruction correctly. An apple!

Whats the deal? All I see is a big black box with nothing in it. Waaaayyyy to dark man. You do realize this is an apple challenge right? Probably charliebaker goin for the brown.
