Sun Rise by Romi
Simple Edit-Crop, shadows/highlights, Slight S curve and masked out the sun area. Resized to 1024, NI and ran sharpen twice, then resized to 720 and masked out some of the sharpening effects.
Will be a stretch for the challenge, but I like it too much to not enter and I have no update button. I expect many DNMC votes since there is a lot of new things in the image.

Baghead you are funny! I have no problem with the DNMC but how could you think I was trying to hide from the original? My title is the same as the original and I put the username in the title. I should try not to be so sneaky. :P

Severely underrated, considering some of the top ten in the challenge were not emulating the original browners at all. Well executed shot.

beautiful image

When I first saw this image I thought "wow, great image, what a big mistake not to include a reference to the original image in the title"

It took me a while to find romi's Sun Rise image:

Then I understood why you did not make any explicit reference to it....the concept has been completely changed which, unfortunately, means this image is a DNMC to me.

If voters do not realize that, this photo could end up in the front page or at least in the top 5.
