What a great capture! I don't think the lake is necessary though, so I'd suggest a tighter crop to the sand. And this shot just looked to me like it was begging for the LucisArt "illustrative" treatment, since it could be a rockewell painting in itself. So I gave it a quick go (hope you don't mind):

Mate...Sounds like you had a really great time at the beach?? lol Wish I'd been there with the camera, what with you carrying Cartesia, Taylor, blanket, basket, camera etc. And bloody hell - then the pop bottle.....Hmmm!!! What we do for the kids. |

This shot makes me want to laugh.... its so typical of kids fighting over the most mundane things, and by the sounds of it, this shot pretty much sums up that day. |

What a great story, I can relate and have similar tales of woe! Nice pop for the processing |

ROFL! I know this tale... I thought for sure you were going to say the smaller one went butt over head into the sand! Lovely editing, and a great shot to remind them of how they got along as kids after they grow up. |

I'm glad you got this shot to at least tell part of the story. Thanks for sharing the tale - funny now, but not at the time!
Your processing has brought out the best of the photo - at least it looks like it could have been a nice evening. |

What a day! The photo only hinted at the story behind a lousy evening. The girls will look back at this pic of them fighting over the picnic basket one day and laugh at the memory. |
