 Playing around with my macro lens. Had a bunch to choose from, ended up going with this experiment, shot from non-macro distance.

Apple sliced in half, placed in a glass balanced on another glass inside a light tent, shot wide open and overexposed to lose the background and support, then boosted the exposure and curves adjustments in LR2 to accentuate the effect. Played around with contrast, brightness, saturation and color adjustments, then export to PSE 5.0 for some resizing, neat image and a border.
